In the mid-19th century, Alexandre Dumas, celebrated author of The Count of Monte Cristo, was part of an exclusive circle known as the Club des Hashischins. This group of intellectuals, including Victor Hugo and Charles Baudelaire, convened monthly at the opulent Hôtel de Lauzun on Paris's Île Saint-Louis. Within its lavishly adorned rooms, they explored the effects of hashish-infused delicacies, seeking to elevate their minds and conversations.These gatherings were more than indulgence; they were a pursuit of refined calm and creative inspiration. Dumas and his peers believed in the power of such experiences to unlock deeper understanding and artistic expression. Adrienne Anderson developed L'Heritage Dumas as an extension of her successfully receptive tea brand: American Royal Tea. While holding true to the non-GMO, organic focus of American Royal Tea, Ms. Anderson envisioned using her botanical blends to create exceptionally special CBD confections for "grown ups" who are looking for an elevated experience to introduce serenity and calm to a hectic world.In her research, she discovered the aristocratic penchant for using cannabis for medicinal and recreational purposes. Unlike the modern image of the "stoner in the basement," cannabis has historically been a part of the salons of many of our most famous artists, writers, politicians, royalty, and aristocrats.Unlike the destructive uses of other products of the time, naturally obtained cannabis was used to calm the nerves, encourage relaxation, and bring serenity to the recipient while allowing them to fully function in their daily activities ...much like tea!Ms. Anderson has developed delicious, botanical forward, organic CBD confections in gummies/jellies and gelées that delight the senses!All of the small batch gummies are blended with non-GMO, organic botanicals, all natural sugars and extracts.
